GPUScore: The Expedition is the latest GPU benchmark for smartphones and other handheld devices. The Expedition measures GPU performance in a 3D mobile game scenario.
The Expedition follows Basemark’s high standards of professional benchmarking, leaving time-based rendering to its demo mode, called Experience mode. All GPUScore benchmarks do their benchmark runs frame-based, which guarantees maximally comparable results, as the workload is made as identical as possible on all tested devices.

At the beginning of 2022, Basemark released the first GPU benchmark, Relic of Life, in a series of benchmark’s launching in 2022. The Expedition is the second GPU benchmark launched this year. The third and final benchmark will be released in the fall of 2022.
